Join us in celebrating the ancient festival of Lammas, a time to honour the first harvest and the abundance of the Earth. On this special day, we gather in gratitude for the fruits of our labor, the ripening grain, and the blessings of community. Together, we will weave rituals of reflection and intention, sharing offerings of bread, song, and stories beneath the warmth of the setting sun. Whether you're a seasoned celebrant or new to the tradition, all are welcome to partake in this sacred gathering, where we honor the cycles of nature and the bountiful gifts she provides.
This Sabbat hallows the midpoint between Summer solstice and the Autumnal equinox. We now bid farewell to the sun as the nights lengthen. The summer fruits are ripe and the earth's grains are readying for harvest. This day is a marker for gathering to begin harvesting - literally or spiritually. The skills and trades which make harvest possible are celebrated and shared.
To honour this day, pagans use summer's abundance to store and prepare for winter. Oaths are made, intentions reignited or purpose is refined.
*Bring an open heart and a small snack to share after ritual and a spirit ready to connect and give thanks. Tea will be provided.
